I've driven past this place many times over the years and finally got to go in there today. Very good burgers. Very limited menu but very good burgers. Owner is a great guy. Will be back.
Amazing burgers and potato salad! Friendly owner. Great location on the way to Jasper. We stay in the little cabin, which was super cute. There are two of them on the side of the main lodge. Each cabin had their own restrooms in the main building.
We stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon becour kids were HANGRY. The burgers we fantastic and the atmosphere was relaxing Thanks for firing up the grill and feeding us!
Enjoyed the world’s famous burger and potatoe salad along with a couple of beer. Awesome decor, and “custom wallpaper” and the big co rooster ck. Stop as you have a busy travel day, you won’t be disappointed. Host / bartender / cook / waiter is a great guy to boot.
Before you get to Avola, you'll see signs for the LOG INN and the 'best burger in the world'. I've been wanting to stop in at the INN, and finally had a chance. Honestly, did not disappoint. GREAT burger, beer was tasty, and the owner is fantastic. Put this place on your list!! You'll be glad ya did.
If Gordon Ramsay and a lumberjack had a lovechild, it would be the Log Inn and Pub. First off, let’s talk burgers. These aren’t your sad drive-thru patties that taste like disappointment and regret. No. These burgers are the stuff of legends—like they were handcrafted by Zeus himself on a grill forged in Valhalla. Juicy, thick, and so damn good they made me question everything I thought I knew about food. I’m 89% sure I saw a single tear roll down my buddy Brett’s cheek after his first bite. And the beer? Ice. Freakin’. Cold. Like it was blessed by a glacier monk deep in the Rockies. You know that perfect first sip of beer after a long day? That’s every sip here. I don’t know what kind of sorcery they’re using but I’m into it. Now—hold onto your pants—because just when I thought my taste buds had peaked, I discovered their beef jerky. Holy hell. This isn’t jerky, it’s meat gold. Chewy, perfectly spiced, and somehow both rugged and refined like a cowboy in a tuxedo. I bought one bag, took a bite in the parking lot, turned around and bought five more like some kind of protein-hungry maniac. If they sold this jerky by the kilo, I’d take out a second mortgage. It’s THAT good. The atmosphere? Picture this: rustic cabin vibes, zero pretension, everyone’s laughing, the bartender might be a wizard, and there’s probably a guy named Rick telling a story about wrestling a moose. It’s like Cheers, but Canadian and with better beards. 10/10 would sell a kidney to come back here. P.S. Don’t leave without trying the burgers AND snagging some of that legendary jerky. Your mouth will thank you. Your dietician will cry.
Very cool place. Driven past the signs on highway for years. First time I have stopped in. It's small but very cool. I'll definitely be back. Food was good.
